Please note: Placing the word “Reward” on your poster while your pet is still out on the run is extremely dangerous. This only places a target on your pet’s back, enticing people to chase and putting your animal’s life at risk. We seldom recommend it; however, there are situations where owners are positive that their cat or dog was stolen. These are people who have definitive proof through surveillance, a reliable eyewitness or a first-hand encounter. Just because your pet hasn’t been sighted for some time, does not mean someone has them. There are multiple cases of dogs disappearing for three weeks, before showing up two neighborhoods away. There is no harm done if you refrain from using the word, but devastating consequences if you do so without certainty. Again, Two Tunnels Pet Recovery does not support using the word Reward while your animal is on the run, and we ask that you refrain from using it, or do so at your own risk.
